Successful candidate will run register, handle flow of customers in check out area, answer phones and direct calls to appropriate department or person, greet customers and give direction when needed, and may perform other duties as needed. Our register system is computer based; items are rung up by a scanning system. Must be willing to learn system. Some computer knowledge will be helpful.

Will greet customers and determine type of plant material needed. Will answer customer questions and help them locate the products needed. Will maintain quality of inventory, unload plant material and hard goods, and help maintain the overall appearance of the nursery. Must have a strong back and stamina and must enjoy the outdoors.

Position: Departmental Coordinators Department: Sales Location: Lafayette, LA Salary: Depends on Experience More Detail...Successful candidate will be responsible for assigned area of the nursery, and will asiist with other areas. Will sell merchandise to customers utilizing knowledge of our products. Some paperwork involved (i.e. defective forms, order forms). Will be responsible for checking in, in-coming merchandise and keeping up with inventory. Some computer knowledge will be helpful.
